A native of Buffalo, NY, Adam is a lifelong music enthusiast and performer.
He purchased his first accordion in 6th grade at a garage sale for $50 and taught himself from old books at the local music store, expanding his repertoire from classical Italian folk songs to French Musettes, Russian Dances, American Pop Songs, and Polka.
His original accordion was made in Italy in 1927, but his current model is tuned to modern standards and is from the 1950s.
At one point, Adam owned 7 accordions simultaneously.
There wasn’t enough room in the basement to hold any more.
Other Musical Talents
He also plays classical works on the French Horn, which is his specialty, but also jazz for trumpet and piano.
In Boston, Adam is a singer, choir director, and teacher of
Gregorian Chant and colonial-era American spirituals.
